In all honesty, most folks do not come to Mountain Thyme B&B the first time because they want to see stars without the interference of city lights, or they yearn to sit in a rocking chair on our porch and watch the birds. But, it is the magic of Mountain Thyme that brings them back again and again.
The first trip is often to visit Hot Springs or one of the other area attractions, or to enjoy Scenic 7 during the "Fall Foliage" season. So we want to share with you some of the many interesting and beautiful things to see and do in the area.
And they will still be here for your diversion when you come back that second, third and forth time to sit on the porch and see the stars at Mountain Thyme Bed & Breakfast Inn.
Our Hot Springs page will give you an idea about the town, the park and some of the popular attractions and events you will find there.
Our Scenic Arkansas page describes some of the scenic drives and destinations that are within easy reach of Mountain Thyme B&B.
Let us pack a picnic lunch for you to enjoy on the shores of Lake Ouachita or at one of the many scenic vistas you will find near here. You will soon understand why Arkansas is called The Natural State.
Just 7 miles down the road is the main entrance to Hot Springs Village, a huge planned retirement community. You do not have to be retired or to play golf to live there, but the majority of residents meet both criteria. We offer this link to those who may be shopping the area with an eye toward moving here.
Also, there are a number of homes in the village which are available for short term rental as well as longer term leasing. If a stay at Mountain Thyme doesn't meet your needs this trip, we offer this link to help you continue your search in this area.
