Arkansas Parks and Tourism The state tourism web site offers a beautiful guide to the Natural State's many attractions including seasons and color updates, Arkansas maps, and a Calendar of Events for the state.
Arkansas State Parks This site provides information about our state parks. With over 600,000 acres of lakes, 9700 miles of rivers and streams, and 51 state parks, Arkansas does, indeed, offer many diverse opportunities to enjoy the Natural State.

May 24 - Sept 26 Magic Springs/Crystal Falls amusement and water parks are open daily. Check Magic Springs site for hours. Guest Tickets available..
June 1 -14 12th Annual Hot Springs Music Festival sponsored by HSMF. 200 International musicians fill the Spa City with 17 concerts and nearly 250 open rehearsals of symphony orchestra, chamber orchestra, chamber music, musical theatre, recitals and master classes. Serious in focus but casual in atmosphere, the Festival events take place in a variety of non-traditional venues including historic buildings, art galleries, hotel ballrooms, churches and open-air spaces. Before and after concerts, audience members and musicians mingle in Hot Springs' eclectic restaurants and cafes, hike the National Park's trails, and relax in the hot mineral water baths that gave the city its name.
June 6 Gallery Walk is a special occasion for the art community of Hot Springs. This popular monthly event is an opportunity to stroll though downtown Hot Springs and to stop in to many of the fine art galleries located in the historic district. The galleries stay open until 9:00 pm, and many offer refreshments as well as an opportunity to meet some of the artists whose works are shown. Gallery Walk is held on the first friday of each month from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Come see why Hot Springs was voted 4th in the Top 100 Small Art Towns in America.

June 20 Antique Walk in the 100 block of Central Avenue in the Hot Springs Historic Disctrict. The shops on Hot Springs’ Antique Row on Upper Central Avenue are hoping to reproduce the hugely popular and successful 17 year old "Gallery Walk" with an Antique Walk to be held the 3rd Friday of every month. The antique dealers and botiques will remain open until 8:00 pm. The block consists of buildings constructed during the 1890s to 1905. All buildings have been renovated and during the renovation many were discovered to have wonderful hidden tin ceilings and architectural elements long covered up.

Oct 3-5 40th Annual Hot Springs Arts and Crafts Fair. 350 - 375 exhibitors featuring quality crafts from all over the nation are expected. Sponsored by the University of Arkansas Extension Homemakers Clubs of Garland County. Admission is free at the Garland County Fairgrounds.

Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat The Belle offers afternoon and dinner cruises on Lake Hamilton
Buckstaff Bathhouse This is the only remaining operational bath house on historical bathhouse row.
Garvan Woodland Gardens A beautiful 210 acre botanical garden located just southeast of Hot Springs on Lake Hamilton.
Jim Coleman Crystal Mine This rock shop and crystal mine is located about 10 minutes from Mountain Thyme.
Magic Springs & Crystal Falls A theme park and water park with an amphitheater and summer concerts. Their concert scheduled can be found on their web site.
Oaklawn Park Hot Springs own thoroughbred race track held its first meet in 1905. Racing season begins in mid or late January and runs through early April. Simulcast viewing is offered year round.
